In honor of Alabama's 200th Bicentennial, Birmingham's Vulcan Park & Museum presented a six-month exhibit commemorating Birmingham's iconic Terminal Station. Over a six-month period from May through December 2019, the exhibit was viewed by thousands of visitors,  inlcuding many who remembered and cherished the station, along with many more who were impressed to learn for the first time of Birmingham's lost archictural masterpiece.

The majority of the exhibit's historical text and illustrations were taken from our book "Great Temple of Travel," which was also the basis for a digital companion guide illustrating many of the images and artifacts from the exhibit.

In appreciation for the support of our readers and the many fans of Terminal Station, we are pleased to offer an on-line viewing of the Companion Guide to Terminal Station: Birmingham's Great Temple of Travel.  The guide is in "flipbook" format and may be viewed by  clicking on here.   The flipbook can be viewed by either clicking on the upper right page corner or using the left and right arrows (turn on your speakers or headphone on for the "flip page" effect).  Please feel free to share by copying and pasting the following website address:
